Alia Luria
Alia Luria began her career as a web designer and developer in 1997. She worked for a series of internet-based companies and experienced the dot.com boom and bust firsthand. Her programming and design experience took her from web services to mobile internet to online photo print services. In 2003, she decided to return to school and pursue a graduate degree.
In 2006, she graduated with Honors with a BS in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. In satisfaction of her degree, she completed an undergraduate thesis titled The Relationship Between Economic Growth & Culture: A Model Based on Japan & the United States. It was later published by VDM Verlag.
After graduating from her economics program, she entered the University of Florida Levin College of Law. There, she primarily studied business law and graduated cum laude in May 2009. She also served as a Research Editor on the Florida Journal of International Law.
During her time in law school, Alia also lived abroad in Tokyo, Japan for a semester while she studied Japanese and international legal topics. Living abroad was a very valuable experience which she believes positively impacts how she interact with others.

Apart from business law, she is extremely interested in the culinary arts, travel, photography, and writing both fiction and nonfiction.
